Terms of Use
The rules for using Distrobell to plan, generate, review, and publish social content and videos to the YouTube channels, Facebook Pages, and Instagram accounts you connect.
1. Acceptance and accounts
By using Distrobell, you agree to these terms. You sign in with Google, and you are responsible for the activity that happens in your workspace and for keeping access to your Google account secure.
2. Your authority over connected accounts
You may connect only accounts you are entitled to use — YouTube channels you are authorised to upload to, TikTok accounts you are authorised to post to, and Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts you are authorised to publish to. Do not connect an account, or use someone else’s credentials, without permission from the person or organisation that owns it.
3. The platforms you publish to
Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok are third-party services, reached through Meta's Graph API, YouTube API Services, and TikTok's Content Posting API respectively, as are the AI providers that generate your images and videos. Their availability, permissions, review processes, and policies remain their own, and a change on their side can interrupt generation, publishing, uploading, or account discovery here. Using the YouTube features means you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, at https://www.youtube.com/t/terms; publishing to Facebook or Instagram is likewise governed by Meta's own terms for those platforms, and posting to TikTok by TikTok's Terms of Service and Music Usage Confirmation. TikTok may restrict a post — until it has reviewed our app, every post we make to TikTok is private. You can revoke Distrobell's access at any time — for Google and YouTube at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions, for TikTok in TikTok's Security and permissions settings, and for Meta in Facebook's Apps and Websites settings — and our Privacy Policy explains what each platform receives.
4. Platform decisions we cannot override
Each platform decides what it will accept, and some of its decisions override yours. On YouTube you choose whether a video is uploaded as private, unlisted, or public, but until the Google Cloud project behind Distrobell has passed YouTube's API audit every upload from it is made private regardless — the product records what you asked for and what YouTube actually did. Meta applies its own review and permission requirements to Pages and Instagram accounts, and a missing permission stops publishing to that destination rather than to the others. Publishing limits, content rules, and takedowns belong to the platform in every case.
5. AI-generated content
Distrobell helps create content, but generated images, captions, and videos may be inaccurate, misleading, or unsuitable for your brand, and generated videos may resemble existing work. You remain responsible for reviewing content before it is published and for making sure it complies with the rules of the platform it is published to, including that platform’s rules on AI-generated and copyrighted material.
6. Publishing and approval
Nothing is published or uploaded without your approval. A newly connected account starts in dry-run mode, where publishing is rehearsed and recorded but nothing is sent to the platform; switching live publishing on for an account is what makes its posts real. For a music project, approving a song is also what triggers the poster and the video encode. Once a post reaches Facebook or Instagram, or a video reaches YouTube, it is live on that platform, and removing it is done there.
7. Provider keys and brand assets
You are responsible for the AI provider keys and the reference images and brand material you add, including confirming that you hold the rights to use them. Costs charged by an AI provider against your own key — for image generation and for music generation alike — are yours.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use Distrobell to break the law or platform rules, to infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, to publish content to accounts you do not control, to impersonate anyone, or to create harmful, deceptive, or misleading material.
9. Availability and changes
External services can change or become unavailable, and we may update, suspend, or discontinue features as the product develops. We aim to give notice of changes that materially affect how you publish.
10. Termination
You can stop using Distrobell at any time and ask for your data to be deleted; our Data Deletion page explains how. We may suspend access for misuse or for activity that puts our Google or Meta applications at risk.
11. Liability and governing law
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Distrobell is provided as it stands, without a promise that every generated output or integration will meet your needs, and we are not liable for content published through your connected accounts.
