Data Deletion

How to disconnect a Google or Meta account from Distrobell, remove a single YouTube channel, Facebook Page, or Instagram destination, or delete your account and all of the data we hold for you.

1. Deleting your data

You can remove your data from Distrobell yourself at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account entirely. This page explains both, including exactly what is deleted and what stays behind.

2. Disconnect an account

The same three steps remove a Google account, and with it the YouTube channels it holds, a TikTok account, or a Meta account, and with it its Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts. Disconnecting a TikTok account also revokes our access at TikTok. Your other connected accounts are unaffected. Disconnecting Google does not sign you out — sign-in and YouTube are separate authorizations — so you can reconnect later without losing your projects.

  1. Sign in and open Social accounts from the sidebar.
  2. Find the account you want to remove.
  3. Select Disconnect and confirm.

3. What disconnecting deletes

When you disconnect an account we withdraw our application at the provider — revoking the token with Google or with Meta — and erase the stored credentials for that account and for every destination belonging to it. Publishing and uploading to those destinations stops immediately. The channel, Page, and Instagram records are kept in a disabled state so your past publishing history stays readable; ask us to delete your account if you want those records removed too.

4. Stop publishing without disconnecting

If you only want one destination to stop receiving content, switch it off instead — the authorization for the rest of the account stays in place.

  1. Open Social accounts.
  2. Find the YouTube channel, Facebook Page, or Instagram account you want to pause.
  3. Turn off its toggle. It stops being an option for publishing immediately.

5. Remove our access at the platform itself

You do not have to come to us at all. Both platforms list the applications connected to your account and let you revoke ours, which invalidates the tokens we hold immediately. Google's is at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions — select Distrobell and choose Remove access. Meta's is on Facebook under Settings & Privacy, then Settings, then Apps and Websites — select Distrobell and choose Remove. Neither removes the records we already hold, so follow it with a disconnect or an account-deletion request if you want those gone as well.

6. Remove other data yourself

Several kinds of data can be removed directly in the product: an AI provider key under Settings, then AI providers, using Remove; reference images inside a campaign; and whole projects with Archive project, which also cancels their scheduled runs.

7. Delete your account and all data

To have everything deleted, email mountainmediacontact@gmail.com from the address associated with your account, or from an address we can verify, with the subject "Delete my account". We may ask you to confirm ownership before acting. We complete verified requests within 30 days and confirm by email when the deletion is done.

8. What account deletion removes

A verified deletion request removes your user record and Google sign-in identity, every connected Google, TikTok, and Meta account together with its stored tokens, every YouTube channel, TikTok account, Facebook Page, and Instagram account record, your projects and campaigns, uploaded reference images, generated images and captions, generated songs, posters, and encoded videos, schedules and repeating plans, your saved AI provider keys, and your publishing history including the identifiers of the posts and videos we published on your behalf.

9. What we cannot delete for you

Content that has already been published lives on the platform it was published to and is controlled by your own account there, not by us. A video uploaded to YouTube is deleted in YouTube Studio; a post on Facebook or Instagram is deleted on that platform. Deleting your data here does not remove them. We may also retain records where the law requires it, and ordinary backups can persist for a short period before they expire.

10. Contact

For any question about deleting your data, contact Distrobell at mountainmediacontact@gmail.com. If you have already lost access to your account, tell us the Google account you signed in with so we can locate your records.
